Onorato, Ravenstahl Establish Subcommittees for 2010 Census Effort

The 2010 Census will shape the future of our community, define our voice in Congress and generate local employment opportunities for residents. An accurate count is essential because it determines the funding we receive for our roads, bridges, and human service programs.

Our goal for the 2010 Census is 100% participation, and we need your help to make that happen. We have formed a Complete Count Committee, led by Honorary Chairman Charlie Batch, the Honorable Cynthia Baldwin, and Rev. Dr. J. Van Alfred Winsett. They will help to lead the effort to ensure that everyone residing in Allegheny County is counted during the decennial census.

The Complete Count Committee will plan and implement local outreach efforts to publicize the importance of the 2010 Census. There are seven subcommittees, and we hope you will join us by signing up to help spread the word.
