Neighborhood Response Rates and Census Competition
In an effort to keep improving the City's response rate, the Mayor has announced a neighborhood Census competition. The neighborhood with the highest mail-back response rate will receive a proclamation from the Mayor awarding their efforts. The City has established this website to track the response rate by neighborhoods as well as response rates for comparable cities, Allegheny County, the state and nation. This site will be updated weekly through May 15 at which point the competition will be complete and the City will announce the winning neighborhood.

Understanding its fundamental importance and the need to keep Pittsburgh Census numbers up, the Mayor has announced a Census Response Rate competition. The Mayor will grant a proclamation to the winning neighborhood group/groups with the highest Census Response Rate.
