LG 42LV4400 HDTV Great Tv for the value!!! Upgraded from an LG 32? to this 42?. I was quite skeptical about purchasing this immediately after reading many poor reviews, but taking a chance, I’m not disappointed at my $500 buy. The price and brand were too superior to pass up. Certainly the rear facing speakers on LG 42LV4400 are horrible, but i paired it using a $100 Vizio speaker bar, as well as the sound is terrific. Picture is extremely superior, not the very best, but extremely good. It can be quite simple to  modes whilst watching programs. I favor the Vivid and Sport modes. A lot of people don’t realize that plenty of the image quality has to do using the cable corporation and tv channel you will be viewing. Bottom line: for $500, I’m incredibly happy with this television
